This headband has a simple 2 row repeat with length that can easily be modified. The stitch pattern allows for stretch while still holding it's shape nicely. The length is customizable, as this is knit flat and joined together at the end. Ideal for children to adults.
This pattern uses DK, Bulky, or Super Bulky weight yarns held single.
Shown is Fingering + Lace = DK weight
Straight needles are recommended, but any type of needle will work for this project.
US 5 / 3.75 mm for DK weight yarn
US 9 / 5.5 mm for Bulky weight yarn
US 11 / 7 mm for Super Bulky weight yarn
Gauge is not necessary for this pattern, you will measure as you go.
